2015 Australian Open Heats Up

December 25, 2019

I’m Lindsay Liepman with today’s health news.
Tennis players in the 2015 Australian Open have met their match. But this opponent isn’t
another player. The heat has soared into the 90’s in Australia and it’s causing heat related
health issues for several players including heat stroke, cramping, fainting and even hallucinations.
Doctors recommend you stay hydrated on and off the court. A good indicator is the color
of your urine. If it’s light yellow, you are probably well hydrated but if it is dark yellow
or tan, it’s time to drink up.
