Every Rolex Tells A Story – Björn Borg

August 12, 2019

My father was a good table tennis player so he played a local tournament
in my home town in Sweden. One of the prizes he won
was a tennis racket and I was seven, eight years old. He gave it to me.
Next day I played with some friends and from the first five minutes,
I fell in love with this sport. When I won Wimbledon first time,
it was a dream come true. When I look at my watch, I think back to the success and
achievement I had on the tennis court, winning the big championships,
winning the big tournaments. It’s a Day-Date watch and came out in 1956 and that’s the year I was born. So I think we perfectly fit together. It stands for something,
it stands for greatness. I did something great on the tennis court
I’m very proud of. EVERY ROLEX TELLS A STORY
