of Kate in shock admission ‘Can’t win’.KATE, the Duchess of Sussex, is known for being
ultra sporty which means she is fiercely competitive when she plays tennis with her husband, Prince
William. Now, a former No 1 tennis player has revealed
the Duchess’ true competitive nature. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been
married for nearly nine years and often express their competitive nature during their public
outings. Kate gets her sporting passion from her days
at Marlborough College.The Duchess has also been having lessons to improve her skills
at the very exclusive Hurlingham Club.Australian former world No 1 Rod Laver revealed to the
MailOnline that Kate is fiercely competitive when she plays tennis against her husband.Mr
Laver has frequently been seen with the Duke and Duchess in the Royal Box at Wimbledon.He
said: “I’d met William and Kate a few times, and in the Royal Box you get a chance
to chat with them a little bit.“They play tennis against each other. William told me he couldn’t beat her.”But
it looks like Prince William could be losing out to his son Prince George too.The young
prince is now being given private lessons from Wimbledon champion Roger Federer.When
Kate and William rowed against one another during their tour of Poland and Germany in
2017, Kate revealed her competitive nature once again.She revealed to the crew: “No
pressure, but I do want to beat my husband.”It comes as Kate was spotted taking tennis lessons
with a private coach at an exclusive club in London – and she is “really very good”,
a club regular claimed.Kate was seen training with a private coach at the exclusive club
in Fulham, a club regular has claimed.They told the Mail on Sunday: “She’s really
very good. She comes down and trains with her tennis
coach with her security looming in the background.This is not the first time an insider spots Kate
at the Hurlingham Club, a private members club bordering the Thames which extends across
42 acres.In August, a royal insider said the Duchess of Cambridge was making frequent trips
to the club with her children, George, Charlotte and Louis.A royal insider told Hello! magazine:
“Kate has been at Hurlingham a lot over the summer.“She takes all the kids.”At
the Hurlingham, George and Charlotte were also taking tennis lessons this summer, the
source added. They continued: “There’s a gorgeous playground
they all love, and George and Charlotte have tennis lessons.”The exclusivity of the club
allows the Cambridges to enjoy their time out without disruption to their privacy. The insider continued: “They all pile into
the clubhouse afterwards for lunch or tea and they’re never bothered, they’re just
like any normal family. “They all seem to really love it there.”
