Tennis superstar Roger Federer has made history
by winning his record eighth Wimbledon title. The world no. 3 beat Croatia’s Marin Cilic in three sets
on Sunday at the All England Club. The victory also extended the 35-year-old’s
record of Grand Slam trophies to 19. His most recent Wimbledon title came in 2012
and the Swiss managed to defy the skeptics who doubted he had another left in the tank
because of his age and recent knee injury.
