S. Korea to send US$1 mil. in aid to Australia in wake of devastating bushfires

the South Korean government is sending 1
million u.s. dollars in humanitarian aid to Australia to help the country recover
from the devastating bush fires the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on
Tuesday that Sarah will offer aid through the Australian Red Cross and it
will send a government delegation to help victims of the wildfires that
killed more than 30 people and destroyed some 3,000 homes the delegation will
consist of officials from the Foreign Affairs and defense ministries and the
Forest Service who will discuss ways to cooperate with Australia’s restoration
efforts on site the Korea meteorological administration will also provide
real-time satellite based information of the fires
