Streb’s 91-footer, Munoz putting count & Loven’ it

November 7, 2019

Take notes kids, this is how you start your
weekend! From 91 feet from off the green on the first
to be exact! Happy Saturday, am I right?! We have ourselves a battle at the top this
weekend at the Greenbrier Classic. Robert Streb wasn’t the only one kicking
off his day from long range… Holy putts! Wire-to-wire leader Sebastian Munoz is a putting
machine! He had this one from 25 feet on the first
to keep his momentum going…. Then another from 25 feet on 13… And another on 15 from 35 feet… I could keep going! The 24-year-old Colombian has racked up a
mind-blowing 396 feet of putts in 52-holes. Let the putting marathon continue! This putt definitely deserves a golf clap. Rookie Xander Schauffele with a 59-foot eagle! But how about this to cap off your day?! Tommy “Two-gloves” Gainey ended his from
33 feet! When your nickname is “Two-gloves”, you
have to give them away right? Hoping to get a little more than a few commemorative
golf gloves this week, Munoz – the TOUR graduate who won last year on a sponsor
invite, is searching for his first PGA TOUR victory in his first year on TOUR, while Davis
Love III is searching for his 22nd ‘W’ and is looking to become the oldest winner
on TOUR. You can’t knock the 53-year-old Hall of
Famer off target this week! He kept his stellar iron game going Saturday
with approaches like this on 7…. Robert Streb, playing for his second PGA TOUR
win, had the top two highlights of the day. You can add his approach to setup eagle on
12 to the list… For the first time in two years, we will crown
a champion at the Greenbrier Classic. Catch final round action wherever you are
on the PGA TOUR LIVE app and I’ll see you Monday for Trending On TOUR.
