FA Cup specials for his weekend 1) Derby County to win away v Brighton (was 18/5, now 36/5)Sat Feb 16 – 12:30pm Why? This is just the third time Derby and Brighton have been drawn against each other in the FA Cup – the Rams won 10-1 over two legs in the fifth round in February 1946, before the Seagulls won 3-1 in round three in January 1961 Frank Lampard’s Derby are looking to reach the FA Cup quarter-final for the first time since 1998-99, losing at this stage four times since, and we fancy them to go through A £10 bet on this returns £92! Place your bet and double up your odds now at Grosvenor Sport! 2) AFC Wimbledon’s Kwesi Appiah to score at any time and his side to win v Millwall (was 6/1, now 12/1)Sat Feb 16 – 3pm Why? AFC Wimbledon’s Kwesi Appiah has had a hand in six goals in his last six FA Cup appearances (4 goals, 2 assists), both scoring and assisting in each of the last two rounds Millwall have reached the FA Cup quarter-final in two of their last six seasons (2012-13 and 2016-17) but been eliminated from four of their last six ties against lower league opposition in the competition And their last three victories in the FA Cup have seen them concede the first goal A £10 bet on this will return a tidy £130! 3) Newport County to score in the second half v Man City (was 13/1, now 26/1)Sat Feb 16 – 5:30pm Why? Newport County are now unbeaten in their past five home FA Cup games against higher division opposition, winning four and drawing one – but beating Manchester City might well prove a tie too far for the League Two side City have won their two FA Cup games this season by an aggregate score of 12-0. However, they’ve won just one of their last six FA Cup away games against sides from a lower division (D4 L1), losing their last such game against Wigan We reckon this bet on a consolation goal is the pick of the punts at Rodney Parade, with a £10 wager returning a huge £270 4) Wolves to win by two goals v Bristol City (was 24/5, now 48/5)Sunday Feb 17 – 1pm Why? Wolves are looking to reach the FA Cup quarter-final for the first time since 2002-03 They’ve lost twice at this stage of the competition since, each time to the eventual losing finalists (Cardiff in 2007-08 and Chelsea in 2016-17) – but have proved themselves to be tough opposition for anybody in the Premier League this season Matt Doherty has been directly involved in each of Wolves’ last four goals in the FA Cup this season, scoring three and assisting the other, and could well continue his impressive run A £10 bet on Wolves to win by two clear goals returns £108. 5) Pedro to score first for Chelsea v Manchester United (was 13/2, now 26/2)Monday Feb 18 – 7:30pm Why? This will be the 14th FA Cup tie between Chelsea and Manchester United – the Blues have triumphed in each of the last four, including the final last season In fact, in all competitions, Manchester United have won just two of their last 22 away games against Chelsea (D7 L13), failing to win any of their last nine Chelsea could become the first team to eliminate Manchester United in five consecutive FA Cup meetings – and we fancy the pint-sized Spaniard as a decent double your odds bet to open the scoring A £10 bet on this upset returns a tidy £140. Place your bet now at Grosvenor Sport here to double up your odds! Double odds offer exclusive to new members 18+, please bet responsibly.
