REBO coaching drill (advanced): THE BEAST = hit 100 shots, then rest for 30", repeat x6 (for yellow ball juniors) until 600 shots hit total, or x10 until 1000 shots. Practice ability to stay focused as fatigue builds. Progression: Count how many shots per 100 hit the target. In this video there are 72 shots total in 2:15 (including mistakes). 1 shot ≈ 1.5 seconds. 100 shots ≈ 2.5 minutes.

Very nice man! You are the ONLY other person I know besides myself:) who is playing with the same form as Federer. This is not a joke! There is no one in my local club or university who can do it and neither is there on tour besides perhaps Dimitrov who comes the closest. It's an amazing feeling and I had an aha moment years ago when I started that revealed to me this technique. Awesome to see you do it too:)

Sure looks like Roger!!! The style of play seems identical, which would be very hard to replicate. He seems to have some teenage chubbiness, which is normal for many of us in our teenage years. Yes, but I think it's definitely Federer!!!

This isn't Roger, you can tell from the body composition and height. Also I notice he's wearing the vapors from 2012/13 which means it couldnt be from this long ago. Nice teckers though

I don't know, but the fucker sure is good :B

  • Reply Dropsy517 July 14, 2015 at 5:38 pm

It's a good portrayal but I doubt it's Roger.  Kid looks like he's a little heavier than RF at this stage, and I question the shoes and the size of the racquet head.

  • Reply Weder Nazari July 18, 2015 at 12:25 pm

Realy nice! I not sure if he is ROGER… but is very similar! Even his way to move his head when shot the ball and Foot work… Wherever… ROGER or nor NO.. is awesome player!!!

    Tks for Share

  • Reply poprambomarine August 9, 2015 at 3:53 pm

no cuz he wearin the vapors

  • Reply Morrie Mukoda November 13, 2015 at 11:05 am

fed at that age should play like Sampras, not like federer.

  • Reply tobo86 December 18, 2015 at 7:37 pm

Wow! With the exception of the forehand takeback, it's identical! Didn't see enough slice to comment, but stunning work! This is the most convincing imitation I've seen

  • Reply Juanito Alcachofa August 7, 2016 at 4:08 pm

Young Roger Federer didnt use an eastern grip he uses a semi western grip.

  • Reply Paul C September 10, 2016 at 5:01 am

Wow this definitely needs to get more views. Someone hit exactly like federer even more than dimitrov. When is he going pro?

  • Reply Roger Federer December 8, 2016 at 1:26 pm

Come on guys it's obviously not Roger Federer, are you retarded or what?! -.- just look at his strokes, his look his body…

  • Reply golem20173 December 9, 2016 at 1:45 pm

Come on guys this is obviously not roger federer, he uses the 2012 vapors and pro staff and the technique is way too stiff…

  • Reply Dyson1 December 25, 2016 at 8:11 am

he hits more like Gasquet than anyone

  • Reply Tennis Conditioning January 13, 2017 at 6:03 pm

  • Reply Mercury2Pluto April 26, 2017 at 12:39 pm

Maybe 65-70% Feds FH&BH & some, but he doesn't bend his legs like Federer does…

  • Reply Manu Ramirez May 4, 2017 at 10:27 pm

Of course he's not Federer assholes but this is probably the most near imitation i've ever seen. He has little differences on his forehand unit turn, bending legs, and his body seems a little bit too stright and not as relaxed as Roger's.

  • Reply alexandergoldman May 6, 2017 at 5:30 am

can certainly tell he studied/copied Federer's moves so by default, good looking strokes. Footwork not bad either. I bet he's probably better than 80% of all the comments below..myself included. Great vid, thumbs up

  • Reply Jonathan Helmers May 14, 2017 at 2:01 am

Forehand isn't even a loop, his take back goes in a diagonal line backwards and down then swings foreward breaking the smoothness a loop provides.

  • Reply DNAngel May 24, 2017 at 6:21 am

You might be able to copy Federer's strokes but I doubt you will be able to copy his achievements 😉

  • Reply Semna June 6, 2017 at 12:40 am

whats the point of showing technique against a wall ?
Show what the guy can do in a real tennis match

  • Reply Corn Baggits June 17, 2017 at 9:10 am

This is Federer as teenager. I remember this video by someone else a while back

  • Reply Alistair Elias July 29, 2017 at 5:49 pm

Since tennis isn't quite popular where I am, I rarely find hitting partners, and if I need one I have to pay him and I can't afford that. So I mostly hit against a wall, I've done that for almost 10 years. And I can testify that it has been very beneficial to me.

  • Reply nipziin October 12, 2017 at 6:36 pm

He's just trying to imitate roger style of hitting

  • Reply Chris71319 March 11, 2018 at 12:10 pm

No one said this is Federer. This is just a young guy with a similar technique.

  • Reply matteo pomili June 28, 2018 at 11:10 am

So similar, but not the same footsteps try again.

  • Reply Will Dent November 8, 2018 at 8:12 am

Biggest difference is his off balance. He's only hitting from his back foot. No good transition from back to front leg.

  • Reply roger garrett October 1, 2019 at 5:33 pm

video should have shown wall type
