The Moderator: Good afternoon we have
Novak Djokovic for you Obviously it’s a full room. I’ll try and
get to as many as possible We will be going to Serbian later It’s exactly the same thing you say
every time. The Moderator: It is. Q: If somebody said who is Sam Querrey to you,
how would you describe yourself? I’m ranked 26, pretty good grass court player.
That’s about it. Q: That’s it?
Yeah, I don’t know. Q: There’s more there. Q. Sam is the first U.S. player to
reach a major semifinal since 2009. Male player. Q. I beg your pardon? Male player. Q. First male player, that’s for sure Q: How does it feel to just dash the
hopes of an entire nation? He’s won the tournament before.
Like, it’s not — it would be one thing if they hadn’t
had a champion in 80 years and he lost. But I don’t feel like I just ruined the
hopes of every British person out there. Everyone needs to take a little chill pill. It’s fine. I was close-ish. Q. Speaking of your age, you’re now the
oldest man to make the semis for some 40 years. How proud are you of that achievement? I didn’t know it, but I don’t know.
How would you feel? Q. I’d be pretty happy. I’m happy that I won today.
But I don’t know if I’m happy to be the guy, n 40 years. People talk more about my
age because of numbers, of records like this I guess it’s great. Yeah, I’m happy.
